Company History

Manitowoc Tool & Manufacturing was founded in 1965 under the name “Manitowoc Tool & Die”. At this time, the business focus was mainly construction of stamping dies, and was operated in a small building at 925 South 29th Street in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.

In 1980, Manitowoc Tool decided to invest in a piece of property in Manitowoc’s Industrial Park at 4211 Clipper Drive. At this time, the company diversified into Production Metal Stampings & CNC Machining, as well as the continuation of construction of stamping dies. Manitowoc Tool was very fortunate to have experienced growth in all areas of the business, which led to multiple additions to the facility, as well as an investment in the Manitowoc and surrounding areas work force. Manitowoc Tool has seen 8 additions to the 24/7 Metal Stamping operation.

Currently, Manitowoc Tool occupies 180,000 square feet of temperature controlled manufacturing space, at 4330 Expo Drive, in Manitowoc, WI. Manitowoc Tool and Manufacturing provides tool and die design, building of tools and dies, production metal stamping, fabrication, and assembly for a broad range of customers all over the United States and beyond.

Manitowoc Tool and Manufacturing has always been and continues to be a family owned company.
